Hi, I'm Markéta, a creative girl who pursues her dreams and isn't afraid to talk (or write) about them. One of those dreams is this year's trip to Sweden, which I'll be happy to share via this blog with anyone who's interested in travelling around Europe by car or in Sweden itself.

I love nature, dancing, hiking, books, learning new languages, and gardening. And, of course, my faithful canine companion Aron will be there too. He just doesn't seem to have the slightest idea yet what he's getting himself into...

I'm 37 years old, and for the last 10 years, I've been working primarily as a graphic designer in the board game industry. I'm a dancer through and through. Music has probably been my lifeblood ever since I was born. Twelve years ago, amongst other things, I walked the German section of the 'Camino' with a rucksack on my back – from Nuremberg almost as far as to the Black Forest.

Since the start of the year (2026), my world has been spinning like never before. Unexpected endings and new beginnings in almost every aspect of my life sparked the initial idea for my summer trip to Sweden – a place I've longed to visit – and led to its gradual realisation.
